Zycron Wins 5-Year Contract with Metro Government of Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Metropolitan Government of Nashville-Davidson County today announced its intent to award Zycron with the IS Temporary Personnel Services contract. This 5-year contract is effective Dec. 1, 2009.

Metro Government has been a customer of Zycron’s since 2003. Zycron has provided Metro with temporary skilled information technology employee services on an as needed basis. These services included providing resources for specialized information technology, position-specific classifications, in accordance with applicable Metro, State and Federal laws, regulations and procedures as well as best business practices.

In 2008 Zycron provided to Metro, business analysts, application developers (both Client-Server and Web-Based Technologies), and a database administration consultant.

Zycron’s state and local government portfolio expanded last year when it won two contracts with major municipalities, the City of Memphis and the State of Tennessee. And earlier this month, Zycron announced its win with the State of Texas Department of Information Resources where it will facilitate the procurement of IT supplemental staffing services for Texas.
