July 20, 2007
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Zycron President and CEO Darrell Freeman introduced President George W. Bush yesterday who delivered a speech to the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce on the federal budget.
"Hosting President Bush marked a great day for Nashville, small businesses and the Chamber of Commerce," Freeman said. "Nashville continues to be one of the nation's leaders in economic and business development, and it was a personal honor to meet and welcome the leader of our nation to our great city."
Bush's three-hour visit was met with both supporters and protestors, but the overall result was an opportunity for Nashvillians to ask important questions about issues affecting the nation and local communities.
"I want to thank Ralph Schulz, the president and CEO of the Nashville Area Chamber," Bush said. "I thank the business leaders who have allowed me to come and visit with you. You do have an exciting city here."
